Concept Art [Nightwing Sketch]

So today I felt like doing some sketching so I started with one of my favourite comic characters Nightwing. This whole sketch took me about 25 minutes to finish and I like the way it came out in the end. 

The sketch itself was based off a picture I found on deviant art that I thought looked pretty cool and currently sits as my home PC wallpaper.


As you can see the original picture is more of just the face and the top of the chest in the drawing. I decided I wanted to add onto that and make more of the body into the drawing. I really like the style of the drawing as well like the whole black and white idea but with the main colour that he has on his suit being the blue. 

As like a conclusion to this I might try and do a digital version of my drawing but so far I like the way it came out and I might actually do some sort of background for the paper version but this was a lot of fun to draw.

Model [Doomhammer Model]

So today we decided to do some more 3d modeling. The models could be of anything we like of any genre so I decided that because I have played World of Warcraft in the past and it is a game I enjoy I decided to model one of the weapons in the game. The weapon i chose was Doomhammer which happens to be very nice model and has some nice detail in the model. The picture I chose to help: As you can tell the model looks quite difficult however a lot of the detail in the model can just be done with texturing the only part I could worry about or just not have on the model is the cloth above the hilt that sticks out but we shall see what happens when it comes to me texturing the model. My model so far: The shape of my model is looking very similar to what the original looks like and I am enjoying making the model as this is definitely developing my skills in 3ds max as well as texturing. I will be updating this post with every time the model is updated.

Rise of the Tomb Raider PC Release

So yesterday Rise of the Tomb Raider finally released on PC after so long of it only being on consoles. I played quite a bit of the game on the Xbox One however I am most looking forward to be able to get it for PC because I want to see what those graphics look like maxed out on PC. The game has some really cool mechanics especially with the bow being able to climb walls if you shoot an arrow into certain walls. As well as that there are some amazing scenery and game playing it.
